Contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Jerri Burket: March 2, 2002 ************************************************************************ 1730 DE Will of William Graham proved 6 July 1730 In the Name of God Amen, this Twenty fourth Day of June in the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and Thirty and in the Tenth Year of the Reign of our Sovereighn Lord George the Second by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faithful, I William Graham and [???] in the County of New Castle upon Delaware, Gent, being [???] in Body, but of perfect Mind & Memory, knowing that it is appointeed for all Men [???], do make and ordain this my Last Will & Testament in Manner & Form following, that is to Say principally and First of all, I commend my Soul into the Hands of God who gave it and My Body to be decently buried in a Christianlike Manner, in St. James's Church Yard near White Clay Creek in this County. Item, I will and order that all the just Debts that shall in [???] be due [???] by me to any Person for [???] whatsoever or whereforever at the Time of my Decease, shall be paid by my Executrix hereinafter named, with all convenient Speed. Item, I give & bequeath to Jeremiah Ball & Morgan Morgan, present or late Church Wardens of St. James's Churh abovementioned, and to the Survivor of them, the Sum of Forty [???] to be paid by my Executrix within one year after my Decease, for and [???] the Repair of the [???] of the afd. Church & Church Yard, or such other {???] as the Church [???] Shall enter and appoint. Item, I give order & bequeath unto my well beloved Wife, Jane Graham, and to her Heirs & Assigns for ever, all the Rest of my Estate both real & personal, wherever the Same is or may be [???] in Land or Equity [???] belonging to me, by any [???] Ways or Meanes whatsoever To Hold to the said Jane Graham, her Heirs & Assignees, for her & their only [???] for ever. And lastly, I do nominate constitute & ordain my Siad Wife Jane Graham, my only and sole Executrix of this my Last Will & Testament, hereby revoking and making void all other Wills & Testaments or [???] for any Time heretofore by me made, ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my Last Will & Testament.
