Contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Jerri Burket: November 25, 2001 ************************************************************************ Will - Frances Graham - 1761 New Castle county, Delaware admitted to probate Feb. 19th 1772 In the Name of God Amen this Tenth Day of April one thousand Seven Hundred & Sixtey one I Frances Graham of Mill Creek Hundred In the county of New Castle upon Delaware yeoman being verry sick & weak In Body But of usual soundness of mind & memory But calling to mind the mortality of my Body & Knowing that it is appointed for a man onst to Die To make and ordaine This my last will & Testament In manner & Form following. First and principaly of all I Do recommend My Body to the Earth to be Buried In a Christian & Decent Manner at the Discretion of my Exes Hereafter named nothing Doubting but I Shall receive [xxx] againe at the Generall resurection by the Power of almighty God That gave It me and as for my Soul I recommend It to the Hands of almighty God where [xxx] merrits & Interecpion of my Saviour & redeemer Jesus Christ and as Touching Such world my Estate wherewith It Hath pleased God to bless me with In this Life I Give Devise & Dispose of the same in manner & Form Following. Viz. Impremis First It Is my will and I do Order [xxx] Debts and Funerell Charges be payd and Satisfied Item I Give and bequeath unto Jeane my Dearely & well beloved wife the third part of my personell Estate & the third Part of the rents Issues & proffits of my reale Estate During Her natural Life or widow Hood but on her Intermariage Her Interes In the proffits of my real Estate to Cease. It Is my will that this shall be in Full of Her Dower or Dowery. Item I Given and Bequeath unto my Dear & well beloved Daughter Elizabeth the Sume of Sixtey pounds of lawfull money To be paid [xxx] Interest For her as Soon as may be after my Decease. Item I Give & bequeath unto my Daughters Mary and Agness The Sume of Fiftey pounds of Lawfull mony Each to be part [xxx] Intarest for There use as above as Sonn as Conveniently may be. Item It is my will and I Do order that my Daughters shall be Educated and Supported out of remainder of my Estate not above bequeathed untill they come to age of Discretion to Support themselves. Item I Give unto my Four Sons William Robert Frances & John all the remainder of my Esate to be equaly Divided among them Both real & personall to them theire Heirs and assigns For Ever and It Is my will and I Do order that if any of my children Ither Son or Daughter Shall be Taken away by Death before the arive at Full age or [xxx] the Share of Such Child or [Childarenes?] taken away by Death not being of age not being maryed and Leaving Lawfull Issue shall go to and be Equaly Devided among the Surviving Childaren There Heirs & assigns and I Do order that my Sons shall be Put To Trades asoone as the are of age For the Same and I Do hereby nominate Constitute & appoint as Executrix and Exes of this my last will & Testament my Deare & Loving wife Jane and my Loving Friend Evan Bird Esq. And I Do hereby revoke Disanull and Disalow of all other will or wills Testament or Testament Exc. Or Exe. By me In any ways heretofore made or named Ratitifying & Confirming this & none other to be my last will & Testament.
