I Matthew Murch of the Village of Port Penn in St. Georges Hundred in New Castle County, State of Delaware being weak of body but of sound and perfect mind and memory & understanding do hereby make and ordain this Instrument of writting to be my last will and testament, T:W: it is my will that after my Just Debts & funeral charges are paid I give & bequest unto my beloved wife Martha all the residue & my moveable estate also her Dower or on third part of my (the word personal - crossed out) Real Estate to receive the one third of the profits there of annually during her natural life. Item I give and Bequeath unto my son Dickinson Murch this whole of my farm or place now in his (?) or occupation of the said Dickinson & to the lawful Heirs of his body & if this said Dickinson should die without a lawfull heir then it is my will that it goes to my son James to him his heirs & assigns forever. Item I give and bequeath unto my son Wesley Murch my Red House together with the yard & garden thereunto belonging (?) & being in the Village of Port Penn to him his heirs or assigns forever, Item I give & bequeath unto my son James Murch all & singular that property whereon I now live & occupy together with the Mansion House & other buildings garden lot - on (?) & being in the Village of Port Penn to him his heirs or assigns forever & lastly I hereby Constitute & appoint my beloved wife Martha executrix & my son Dickinson executor of this my last will & testament, hereby revoking & making Void all wills heretofore by me made. In witness whereof I have here unto let my hand to seal this 23rd day of September Annos Domini one thousand eight hundred & twenty 1820.
