McAllister, 82, husband of Mrs. Lola McAllister, 4930 Old Capitol Trail, Marshallton, died yesterday at his home of complications. He had been ill for about one year. A native of Pennsylvania, Mr. McAllister had lived in Marshallton for about 50 years. He was employed as a steam fitter by the T.T. Weldin & Sons Company for 18 years. He was a member of Fairfax Lodge No. 8 of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Armstrong Lodge No. 26, AF&AM, the Delaware Consistory and Steam Fitters Union, local No. 80. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Samuel L. and J. Russell McAllister, both of Marshallton; two brothers, George M. and Russell, of West Chester, Pa., a granddaughter, a grandson, a greatgranddaughter and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held a 2 p.m. Wednesday from the R.T. Jones Funeral Home, Newark. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home tomorrow night from 7 to 9.
