Hearn to James T Hearn.ddt’d 25 feb, 1881, recorded mar. 8, 1881, Pgs 533-535 This indenture made the sixteenth day March in the year of our lord one-thousand-eight-hundred and seventy-eight between William S. Hearn and Julia Hearn, his wife, of Little Creek hundred Sussex County, in the state of Delaware, of the first part and James T. Hearn of said county and and state, of second part . Witnesseth that the said William S. Hearn and Julia Hearn, his wife, for and in consideration of the sum of sixty-dollars, lawful money of the United States, to them in hand paid, by the said James T. Hearn at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained, sold, aligned, impossed, released, and conveyed, and confirmed by these presents, do grant, bargin, sale, alien, imposs, release, convey and confirm unto the said James T. Hearn, his heirs, and assigns all that certain lot, piece, and parcel of land situate, lying, and being in Little Creek Hundred, Sussex County, state of Delaware, which is bounded and described as follows: Beginning for the same at a stone planted where the old road leading from Mount Muriah Church, easterly intersects the public road leading from Delmar to Laurel, thence running north eighty-three and one-half (legs), West one-hundred and four tenths perches, to intersect the said James T. Hearn's land, thence (by s)with the same north seventy-six and one half (legs), east forty-seven perches, thence south, sixty- seven (legs), east fifty-eight and one-tenth perches to the beginning, containing five acres of land , be the same more or less, together with all and singular the buildings, improvements, ways, woods, waters, water courses, rights, liberties, priviledges, herediments, and appurtenances, whatsoever thereunto belonging, and in any wise appertaining and the seversins and remainders, rents, issues, profits thereof and all the estate right, title, interest, property claims and demand whatsoever of them, the said William S. Hearn and Julia Hearn, his wife at law & in equity of-to-in and out of the same very part and parcel thereof to have and to hold the lands, premises, hereby bargained and sold w intend so to be with the appertenances thereunto belonging unto the James T. Hearn, his heirs and assigns forever and the said William S. Hearn and Julia Hearn, his wife for themselves, their heirs, executives and Adminst. do hereby further grant, convey, and agree, to with the said James T. Hearn, his heirs, assigns that that the land, premises, hereby bargained, and sold, w intended so to be, with the appurentences against them, the said wm. S, Hearn and Julia Hearn, his wife, their heirs, executors and Adms and against all persons claiming w lawfully to claims, the same way, part w parcel thereof and through and under them unto the said James T. Hearn , his heirs and assigns. They the said wm. S. Hearn and Julia Hearn his wife shall and will warrent and forever defend, In witness whereby they the said Wm. S. Hearn, Julia Hearn, his wife have hereunto respectively set their hands and seals the day and year first herein written. William S. Hearn, one of the parties to this deed, known to me personally to be such & acknowledged this indenture to be her act, being at the same time separately examined and apart from her husband, acknowledged that she executed the same willingly without compulsion or threats or fear of her husbands displeasure given under my hand & seal of office at Laurel, Del. the day & year aforesaid.
