Deed. Daniel Fling, yeoman, late of Sussex, to William Holland,yeoman of same, 70 pounds, 169 acres. Land in Rehobeth between Love's Creek andland now belonging to Joseph Eldridge, bounded by land of Holland where he now lives, and by land of Baylis, land of Joseph Eldridge, land of the heirs of Westley, land of Wm Gill, land of John Oakey. Land surveyed 8 Jan 1747/8 by William Shankland and is part of a larger tract of 311 acres formerly sold by William Clark, deceased, late of Sussex to John Shaw who absented out of county without paying his debts. The land was taken in execution and sold at public vendue by Capt. Luke Watson, Sheriff, who died before the land was made over, and Thomas Fenwick, chosen Sheriff to replace him, conveyed the land on 5 Feb 1705 to William White deceased, late of Sussex, who conveyed the land to Daniel Fling, deceased, late of Sussex, and father of Daniel Fling of these presents, on 7 May 1706.
