Clongman C. Capps. Burial was in Meherring Baptist Church Cemetery with W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home in charge. Pallbearers were Dean Davis, Billy Futrell, Bubba Evans, Howard Dilday, Robert Futrell and Albert Vann. Stradley, 67, died Tuesday in his home at 419 Harrell St. after a brief illness. A native of Bridgeville, Del., he was a son of William Charles and Mrs. Sadie Bennett Stradley and the husband of Mrs. Nettie Britton Stradley. He operated Murfreesboro’s only recreational center many years. He was a member of Murfreesboro Methodist Church and its Men’s Bible class. Besides his widow, surviving are a son, William H. Stradley of Murfreesboro, and two grandchildren.
