Bates and Louisa T. Bates his wife of Newnansville Alachua County of the first part and John M. Sanchez of same place of second part Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of Two hundred Dollars lawful money of the United States of America to them in hand paid by the said party of the second part Have granted bargained Sold assigned transferred and set over and by these presents Do grant bargain sell assign transfer and set over unto the said John M. Sanchez his heirs and assigns forever, Al those certain Lots pieces or parcels of Land in the Town of Newnansville County of Alachua known and distinguished on a certain map or plot of the said Town of Newnansville as Lots number Six and Seven on half range North of range number one, Together with all and Singular the rights, tenements and hereditaments thereunto belonging or in any wise Appertaining, and the reversion and reversions, remainder and remainders, rents issues and profits thereof, and all the estate right title interest Dower and right of Dower, property, possession claim and demand whatsoever of the said parties of the first part of in and to the same, and every part and parcel thereof ____ To have and to hold the same and every part and parcel thereof, with the appurtenances, unto the said John M. Sanchez his heirs and Assigns forever, And the said James M. Bates for himself and his heirs, the above described & hereby granted and released premises and every part and parcel thereof with the Appurtenances unto the said party of the first part and their heirs and against all and every person and persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same, shall and will Warrant and forever defend by these presents __ In Witness Whereof the said parties of the first part have hereunto set our hands & Seals the day & year first above written ____ Signed Sealed & delivered James M. Bates (seal) Territory of Florida Alachua County Be it remembered that on this thirteenth day of January One thousand eight hundred and forty one, Personally came before me the subscriber a justice of the Peace for the County of Alachua, the above named James M. Bates and Louisa T. Bates his wife, both personally known to and known to me to be the same persons mentioned & described in & who executed the foregoing instrument, and they severally Acknowledged to me, that they executed the same for the uses and purposes therein mentioned, And the said Louisa T. Bates being by me examined privately, separated and apart from her said husband on such examination Acknowledged that she made the relinquishment and renunciation of Dower and signed the foregoing instrument freely and Voluntarily and without any Compulsion Constraint, Apprehension or fear of or from her said Husband ___ Stephen Fagan Justice of the Peace In and for Alachua County __ Recorded this 15th day of January AD 1841 James McNeill Clk A.C.C.
