Brandin of the same city county and territory, of the second part. witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of five hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the said party of the second part at or before the sealing and delivery hereof the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge, hath, granted, bargained, sold, aliened, and conveyed and by these presents doth grant, bargain, sell, alien, and convey unto the said Henry P. Brandin his heirs and assigns an undivided moity or half part of that undivided fortieth part of forty thousand acres of land situate, lying and being on the river Okelewaha in East Florida which undivided fortieth part was conveyed by Joseph M. Arredondo to John A Cavado and by said Cavado to John Y. Garcy, by deed indenture, bearing date the eleventh day of October eighteen hundred and twenty six and by the said John Y. Garcy conveyed to the first party of these presents by deed indented bearing date the fourteenth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty nine which said land is contained with in the following meter and boundary, east one hundred chains to a pine tree, thence south one hundred chains to a stake thence west one hundred chains to a palmetto tree thence north one hundred chains to a stake, to have and to hold the said undivided half part of said undivided fortieth part of said tract of Land, together with All the rights Members and Appurtenances to the same in any manner belonging to the said Henry P. Brandin his heirs and assigns, to his and their only proper use, benefit and behoof forever. And the said John Moloney for himself, his heirs, executors and administrators against all persons claiming, by through or under him, the said bargained and sold premises, unto the said Henry P. Brandin his heirs and assigns, will warrant and forever defend, by these presents In testimony whereof the said John Moloney hath hereunto set his ahnd and seal the day and year first above written Signed Sealed & delivered in presence of John Moloney (L.S.)
