Nelomus for and in consideration of the sum of $1500 dollars to me in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents by Benett M. Dell the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge have bargained and sold and by these presents do bargain sell and deliver to the said Benett M. Dell my Negro Slaves, to wit, Silvey a negro woman and her children Charles, George, Charlotte, Jacob and Israel To have and to hold the said negro woman Silvey and her children Charles, George, Charlotte, Jacob and Israel unto the said Benett M. Dell his heirs Executors Administrators and assigns to his and their only proper use and benefit forever And We the said Shemus Nelomus and Penelope Nelomus do warrant and forever defend __ Our Executors and Administrators the said bargained premises unto the said Benett M. Dell his executors Administrators and assigns from and against all person shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents In witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals dated at my house on the 26th day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty nine and in the sixty third year of the Independence of the United States of America.
