Territory of Florida
            Know all men by these presents, that we Francisco R. 
Sanchez and his Wife Frances Sanchez of the Territory of Florida, in 
the Territory Aforesaid, for and in consideration of the sum of Four 
thousand Dollars to us in hand paid, by John B. Strong of the City of 
St. Augustine the receipt which is hereby Acknowledged, have granted, 
bargained, Sold and released, and by these presents do grant bargain, 
sell and release unto the said John B. Strong, Twelve hundred & fifty 
Acres of a tract of Land consisting of Four thousand Acres, lying on 
the River Santafe on the south side of said river, and to be set off to 
the said Strong in that part of the said tract, as shall best 
accommodate him with refference to a tract of Land which he purchased 
of Antonio Alvarez and Simeon Sanchez which last tract contains two 
thousand Acres, and is owned now as Tenants in common by the said 
Simeon Sanchez and Samuel Fairbanks said tract of Land containing four 
thousand Acres was granted to me by the government of East Florida 
About the year One thousand eight hundred & fifteen, refference being 
more particularly had to the Original grant ___  Together with all and 
Singular, the rights, members, hereditaments and Appurtenances, the 
said premises belonging, or in any wise incident or Appertaining ____
   To have and to hold all and Singular the premises before mentioned, 
unto the said John B. Strong his heirs and Assigns forever.  And we do 
hereby bind ourselves our heirs Executors and Administrators to warrant 
and forever defend all and Singular the said premises unto the said 
John B. Strong his heirs and Assigns, against all persons, ourselves 
and our heirs And every other person or persons lawfully claiming, or 
to claim the same or any part thereof.___
            Witness our hands & Seals this tenth day of November in the 
year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and twenty three and in the 
forty eighth year of the Independence of the United States of America

Be it remembered that on the third day of April One thousand eight 
hundred & twenty four, personally appeared before me Francis R. Sanchez 
the Signer of the Within Deed and Acknowledged he had Voluntarily 
executed the same, for the uses & purposes therein mentioned And the 
said Frances Sanchez being examined separate & apart from her Husband 
did Acknowledge she had executed the same of her own free will and as 
her Voluntary Act and deed without any fear or compulsion on the part 
of her Husband
