This Indenture made the sixteenth day of June in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred & forty 
one    Between John J. Sanchez Commissioner for the Sale of Town Lots in the Town of Newnansville, 
appointed by the Judge of the County Court of Alachua County, in pursuance of an Act of the Legislative 
Council of Florida passed the 2nd day of March 1840 of the first part and Edward S. Alldrich of the second 
part   Witnesseth That the said John J. Sanchez for and in consideration of the sum of fifteen Dollars and 
fifty Cents lawful money of the United States to him in hand paid by the said Edward S. Alldrich at the 
sealing and delivery hereof the receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged  Hath granted, bargained, Sold, 
Assigned, transferred, Conveyed and set over and by these presents Doth grant, bargain, sell, Assign, 
transfer, Convey and set over unto the said Edward S. Alldrich his heirs Executors Administrators and 
Assigns forever, All that certain Lot piece or parcel of land situate lying and being in the Town of 
Newnansville Territory of Florida, known as Lot number four, Block number One Range number One, on a 
certain Map made for the Town Commissioner by Thomas Jefferson Smith 6th of June 1841 is to be filed in 
the Office of the County Clerk of Alachua County,  Together with all & Singular the tenements and 
Hereditaments thereunto belonging or in any wise Appertaining, and reversion and reversions remainder 
and remainders, rents issues and profits thereof,  And also all the Estate right title and interest property 
possession claim and demand whatsoever as well in law as in equity, of him the said John J. Sanchez as 
such Commissioner as aforesaid.  To have and to hold the said premises and every part and parcel thereof 
to the said Edward S. Alldrich his heirs and Assigns forever, as fully and Absolutely as he the said John J. 
Sanchez Commissioner as Aforesaid under Authority aforesaid, might, could, or ought to sell and Convey 
the same.
        In Witness Whereof the said John J. Sanchez Commissioner as Aforesaid, hath hereunto set his 
hand and seal the day and year first above written  _____
