Tyner of Alachua County in the Territory of Florida of the first part and Archibald H. Cole of St. Johns County in said Territory of the second part ___ Whereas the said party of the first part is justly indebted to the said party of the second part, in the sum of eight hundred Dollars lawful money Conditioned for the payment of four hundred Dollars with interest thereon at the rate of eight per Cent per annum, on or before the first day of May in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred & forty three as appears by his certain bond or written Obligatory bearing even date with these presents, Now this Indenture Witnesseth that for the better securing to the said party of the Second part the payment of the said Bond or Written Obligatory According to the true intent and meaning thereof, as also in consideration of the sum of ten Dollars by the said party of the second part in hand paid at & before the ensealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged, The said party of the first part, hath bargained, Sold and delivered and by these presents doth bargain, Sell and deliver unto the said party of the second part, the following personal property of him the said party of the first part viz__ One Negroe Man Slave (black) named Renta aged about forty five to fifty years, the same formerly belonging to Henry Lindsey and now in the hands of Thomas Colding Administrator of the estate of said Lindsey deceased, Also One large four wheel Waggon, Also One mule of a brown Colour aged Seven years or thereabouts Also one black mule aged Ten years or thereabouts Also One Sorrel mare with a white face aged nine years or thereabouts together with a Colt the foal of said mare, nearly one year old, To have and to hold the said Negro Slave, four wheeled Waggon, Brown and Black Mules, Mare and Colt and every of them unto the said party of the second part his executors, Administrators & Assigns to the only proper use benefit and behoof of the said party of the second part his executors, Administrators and Assigns forever ___ Provided Always Nevertheless, and these presents are upon the express Condition, that if the said party of the first part his Executors or Administrators, shall well & truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said party of the second part, his certain Attorney, executors, Administrators or Assigns, the said sum of money mentioned in the condition of the said bond or Written Obligatory, with the interest thereon at the time therein mentioned and according to the true intent & Meaning of the said Bond and the Condition thereof, then as well this present Indenture as the Estate herein Conveyed shall cease determine and be null & void, Else to be and remain in full force and Virtue In Witness whereof the said party of the first part hath hereunto Set his hand and Seal the day and year first above written Signed Sealed &delivered John G.
