Villalong & Jane C. his wife formerly Jane C. Fernandez on the one part and I.D. Fernandez on the other part all of the above written Territory. Witnesseth that the said John L. Villalonga and Jane C. his wife parties of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of Five hundred dollars to them in hand paid, at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged , Hath granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Fernandez party of the second part - Two thousand two hundred and fifty Acres of Land lying in that part of the Territory known as East Florida and ****** as follows - Seven hundred and fifty acres on the west side of the River St. Johns above Bernards ferry and at a place where the road called Simfelokey crosses the said River - Seven hundred and fifty Acres on Moodys Hammock To the South West of Paynes Town and the Road from said Town to the Oklawaha and the balance seven hundred and fifty Acres on Coolys Hammock - On the North east side of the Road called Rays Trail from the Natural Bridge of Santafe to the Town in Alachua called Hog Town The said two thousand two hundred and fifty Acres being the said Villalonga and Jane C. his wife part of a sixteen thousand Acre grant made to Domingo Fernandez by the late Spanish Government on the sixteenth day of November eighteen hundred & seventeen for services and losses and to which they are one fourth heirs - To have and to hold the said two thousand two hundred and fifty acres unto the said I.D. Fernandez his heirs and successors together with all & singular the right to members and appurtenances to the said in any manner belonging to his and their proper use and behoof forever And the said John L. Villalonga & Jane C. his wife for themselves their heirs executors & administrators the said bargained premises unto the said I.D. Fernandez his heirs & assigns will warrant & forever defend the right and title there of against himself and themselves _ But not against the Claim or Claims of any other person or persons whatever This being altogether a quit Claim Sale. For testimony whereof the said Villalonga & Jane C. his wife hath hereunto set their hands & seals the day and year aforewritten Signed sealed and delivered in presence of Jane C. Villalonga (L. S.)
