Dear Sir: I am again writing you to look after the matter of mamas pension. She signed the form sent, after it was properly filled out, and she received a card from Miss Bell, the Secretary bearing the number 17549. On the first of October she filled in and gave her account to Mr. A. J. DaCosta, the notary, to be forwarded to Tallahassee. Since then we have heard nothing. She has waited and looked each mail but so far no check has reached her. At the time account was signed Mr. DaCosta remarked that all of the papers up to that time forwarded from this section were in the 14 thousands and it may be that some confusion ? there from. Her former number was 4601 and the card dated September 15 1909 was numbered 17549. Please look into the matter for us. I came home from the coast in July and had been home but two weeks when my mother fell ill and was critically ill for several weeks. It was not until the first week in September that she was able to sign the new application form. She has been getting along quite well until the last week she has been very feeble. I hope Mrs. Chesly is now quite strong and my mother and I wish to be remembered to her. Mr. Chesly if you will look this matter of the pension up we certainly will appreciate your kindness.
