D. One Thousand Nine Hundred and nine, personally appeared before me, a notary public in and for the County and State aforesaid Elizabeth C. Anderson a resident of Hillsborough County State of Florida, who being duly sworn according to law, makes the following declaration in order to obtain a pension under the provisions of Chapter 5885, Laws of Florida, approved June 7, 1909. That she is the widow of E. Anderson who was enlisted under the name of E. Anderson, who on the ____ day of ____, 1862, in Company C 6th Cav. Regiment of the State of South Carolina and who was honorably discharged at Goldsboro, NC, 1865 on account of close of war. That he received a pension from the State of Florida under claim #3533. That she was lawfully married to the said E. Anderson under the name of Elizabeth Caroline Hughey in the County of Abbeville, State of South Carolina on the 10th day of July, 1865, and that she was not divorced from him and that she has not remarried since his death, which occurred on the 28th day of July, 1909, in the County of Sumter State of Florida. That she is a resident of Hillsborough County, Florida, and has continuously resided in the State of Florida since the 29th day of July 1865 where she expects hereafter to reside and where her late husband is interred. That she does not own property, including real estate, personal property, mortgages or other collateral securities, stocks or bonds in this or any other State to exceed in value the sum of Five Thousand Dollars.
