Beal aged 66 years, who being duly sworn according to law, makes the following declaration in order to obtain the pension provided by Act of the Legislature, approved June 6, 1903, for indigent widows of deceased Confederate soldiers and sailors: That she is the lawful widow of Moses T. Beal who enlisted on or about 15th day of February 1863 in Captain Gary's Company, First Fla. Regiment of the State of Florida and who was on the ____ day of ____, 186_, at ____ in the State of ____ killed in battle or honorably discharged from said service, and died on the 28th day of July 1874 at his home in Marion County near Orange Springs. The applicant desires to state that her husband the said Moses T. Beal was suddenly killed on the 28th day of July 1874, by being thrown from a horse and that she does not know of any citizen now living except those who served in the war with her said husband deceased that knows anything about his war service, she says he did not desert that she was legally married to said soldier prior to the first day of January, 1885, at Orange Springs in the State of Florida; that she has been a bona fide resident of the State of Florida continuously, since the first day of January, A. D. 1890; that she does not own property, real and personal, to the value of $800 in this or any other State, and is not otherwise enabled or in a position to earn a livelihood, and has no income from any source sufficient for a livelihood; and that she has not purposely disposed of any property for the purpose of availing herself of the provisions of this act. Beal, do hereby make application to the State Board of Pensions for a pension, to be granted to me under the act of 1907, Chapter 5600 of the Laws of Florida, on the following grounds: I am the widow of Moses T. Beal, deceased, who departed this life on the tenth day of July A. D. 1873, in the county of Marion in the State of Florida. I was married to him on the twenty third day of January, A. D. 1867, in the county of Marion, in the State of Florida. I have not remarried since the death of my said husband. My husband, the said Moses T. Beal, enlisted and served in the First Regiment Florida Reserves service of the military service during the war between the State of the United States, and he did not desert the Confederate or State service. I have been a resident of the State of Florida for ten consecutive years prior to the date of this application, and that I am not receiving a pension from any other State. Adline J. Beal a resident of Stanwood in the County of Saint Lucie State of Florida, who being duly sworn according to law, makes the following declaration in order to obtain a pension under the provisions of Chapter 5885, Laws of Florida, approved June 7,1909. That she is the widow of Moses T. Beal who was enlisted under the name of Mosses T. Beal on the ____ day of ____, 1864, in Company Capt. McGahogan Second Regiment of the State of Fla. Reserves and who was honorably discharged at Madisonsville, Fla. in April, 1865, on account of the surrender of the Confederate armies. That she was lawfully married to the said Mosses T. Beck under the name of Adeline J. Turner in the County of Marion, State of Florida on the ____ day of January, 1867, and that she was not divorced from him and that she has not remarried since his death, which occurred on the tenth day of July, 1873, in the County of Marion State of Florida. That she is a resident of Saint Lucie County, Florida, and has continuously resided in the State of Florida since the ____ day of her birth. That she does not own property, including real estate, personal property, mortgages or other collateral securities, stocks or bonds in this or any other State to exceed in value the sum of Five Thousand Dollars. That the following is a true and correct statement of all property owned by me in this or any other State: None That she has heretofore been granted a pension from the State of Florida under Certificate No. 7035.
