D. One Thousand Nine Hundred and twenty-three, personally appeared before me, a notary public in and for the County and State aforesaid Sarah Jane Wiggins a resident of Gainesville, County of Alachua State of Florida, who being duly sworn according to law, makes the following declaration in order to obtain a pension under the provisions of the General Pension Laws of Florida as amended by Chapter 8400, Acts of 1921. That she is the lawful widow of Burrell Wiggins who enlisted under the name of Burrell Wiggins on the 2nd day of November, 1862, in Company F - 1st Fla. Bat. Regiment of the State of Florida and who was honorably discharged at Gainesville, Fla. July, 1865, on account of the surrender. For proof of husband's war service refer to Pension No. 6507. That she was lawfully married to the said Burrell Wiggins under the name of Sarah Jane Bennett in the County of Alachua State of Florida on the 15th day of January, 1847, and that she was not divorced from him before nor has she remarried since his death, which occurred on the 11th day of April, 1923, in the County Alachua, State of Florida except as hereinafter stated. That she is a resident of Alachua County, Florida, and has continuously resided in the State of Florida since the ____ day of her birth in 1841. That she was heretofore granted a pension from the State of Florida under Certificate No. ____. That she is not a pensioner of any other State. That her Postoffice address is Gainesville, County of Alachua State of Florida. Sarah Jane Wiggins (Signature of Claimant.) Attest: (1) H. G. Mason, Jr. (2) P. E. D. 1923, I hereby certify that the above declaration, etc., was made known and fully explained to the applicant before swearing, and that I have no interest, direct or indirect in the prosecution of this claim.
