Wienges Clerk & Auditor ******************************************************************************************* Oct. 17th, 1916 Mrs. Kiziah [sic] Wright, Wade, Florida Dear Madam: I am in receipt of your letter of the 14th, instant in which you state that you have heard nothing relative to your pension since filing a copy of resolution made by the County Commissioners of your county last August. I have taken the matter up with the Secretary of the Board, and he advises me that he has written several letters concerning this application. He states that he wrote the County Commissioners on August 4th advising them that their resolution had been received, etc. I am mailing you a copy of this letter which will explain itself. It seems that you were divorced from your husband before he died, which being the case, you could not draw his pension as his widow. Very respectfully, Comptroller
