Special care was taken to record all information found on the stones that would be of genealogical interest. This project would not have been possible without the help of the many people who gave generously of their time and talent. Tombstone surveys were also done in the late 1960s by Bay High students as a history class project and by Marlene Womack in the early 1970s. Both of these reports are included as an addendum to the particular cemetery. These records were provided by The Bay County Genealogical Society. This project was chaired by Nancy Roberts, a member of The Bay County Genealogical Society.
