St. Andrews Washington County State of Florida. June 25th A. D., 1897. the name of God. Amen-- I Hannah Lowica McCarthy Babcock Curry, Being of sound mind and disposing memory and free to act Hereby make and publish this my last will and testament. I give bequeath and devise all of my Estate and property unto my son Frederick Reuben Babcock as follows all of my money in savings Banks and all money due me from whatsoever source, Real and personal property and everything that I own and possess at the time of my death- wherever the property may be situate in what state or County soever-- Everything that I own and possess is this day free from all encumbrance there being no debt against me or my estate or property. My son Frederick Reuben Babcock is my only living child, I therefore appoint him Executor of this will, There will be no bond required as my son will Heir all of my property at my death. If I die before my son finished his education it is my wish, that he remain in a college or university until his education is finished- If my son dies while single the Residue is then to go to Maryville College to be used to Educate poor destitute children male and female But if he is married and leaves issue everything must go to the Issue for the support and education of the same If he dies childless and no child is born within nine months after his death the wife will have her third, the rest of the residue must go to Maryville College Maryville-Tenn.
