He did not receive a Florida confederate Pension but his wife filed her papers and received a pension October 15, 1903, and at that time was living in Bradford County, Florida. She stated in her claim that her husband enlisted in Captain L. J. Knight's Company, 29th Georgia Regiment and served in said regiment. He was born on December 27, 1843, married Delia A Allen and died January 13, 1876, in Lowndes County, Georgia. We do not know where he was buried but would suggest that you write the Clerks Office in Lowndes County, Georgia, and they might assist you. Her application does not give a battle name. She filed her application from Bradford County, Florida, in 1903, and gave 1850 as the year of her birth. We do not have the date of her death.
