One Thousand Nine Hundred and Nine, personally appeared before me, a Notary Public in and for the County and State aforesaid Emeline Arcadia Renfroe a resident of ____ County of Bradford State of Florida, who being duly sworn according to law, make the following declaration in order to obtain pension under the provisions of Chapter 5885, Laws of Florida, approved June 7, 1909. That she is the widow of Solomon H. Renfroe who was enlisted under the name of Solomon H. Renfroe on the ___ day of ___, 186_, in Company ___ Regiment of the State of ___ (See dates given in proof made when pension granted) and who was honorably discharged at ___ on ___, 186_ on account of close of war. That he also served ___. That she was lawfully married to the said Solomon H. Renfroe under the name of Emeline Arcadia Doyden in the County of Columbia, State of Fla on the 7th day of Aug, 1846, and that she was not divorced from him and that she has not remarried since his death, which occurred on the ___ day of Dec, 1872, in the County of Levy State of Fla. That she is a resident of Bradford County, Florida and has continuously resided in the State of Florida since the ___ day of 1831. That she does not own property, including real estate, personal property, mortgages or other collateral securities, stocks or bonds in this or any other State of exceed in value the sum of Five Thousand Dollars. That the following is a true and correct statement of all property owned by me in this or any other State: Real estate, located at: Personal Property: $5,000 Cattle, horses and other live stock: Stocks: Bonds: Mortgages, notes and other securities: Total $5000 That she has heretofore been granted a pension from the State of Florida under Certificate No. 7128. Renfroe, do hereby make application to the State Board of Pensions for a pension, to be granted to use under the act of 1907, Chapter 5600 of the Laws of Florida, on the following Grounds: I am the widow of S. H. Renfroe deceased, who departed this life on the ___ day of December A.D. 1972, in the county of Hernando in the State of Florida. I was married to him on the 7th day of August, A.D. 1846, in the county of Columbia in the State of Florida. I have not remarried since the death of my said husband S. H. Renfroe. My husband, the said S. H. Renfroe, enlisted and served in the military service of the Confederate States during the war between the States of the United States and he did not desert the Confederate or State service. The records show that S. H. Rentfroe, private, Company I, 1st Florida Reserves, C.S.A., enlisted May 21, 1864, and that he was surrendered May 18, 1865, at Baldwin, Florida, and paroled the same day at Lake City, Florida.
