He attended the Carthage schools, Western Military Academy, and Dartmouth College. Miriam was born 19 Oct 1913 in Waltham, MA to Bissiel Cook and Albert Jordon. Miriam & S. C. were married Oct 1932 in New Hampshire and had three children and six grandchildren. They were at home in: Carthage, St Joseph, St Louis, Webster Groves, Missouri, Dearfield Beach and Boca Raton, Florida, and since 1969, summering at Cape Cod.
