Directions: Barton Family Cemetery is located in Range 8 West, Township 2 North, in Northeastern Calhoun County, FL. It is located at approximately 85 degrees, 0 minutes, 4 seconds west Longitude and 30 degrees, 35 minutes north Latitude. From the juncton of County Road (CR) 274 and CR 69A in NE Calhoun County, go South on CR 69A approx 1.2 miles to Barton Cemetery Road, l ocated on the east side ot CR 69A. Drive approximately 600 yards on Barton Cemetery Road to the first 90 degree left turn. Approx. 100 yards beyond the turn on the right side of the road is a metal gate with a narrow (10-12 feet wide) fenced lane. This lane leads to Barton Family Cemetery. You cannot turn around except at the Cemetery itself. There are numerous unmarked graves, which were not counted. This old cemetery is located in a wooded area and is no longer in use. On the date of survey, it showed evidence of having some of the underbrush cleared, but much of the cemetery is overgrown. All tombstones were recorded with a digital camera and the full set of photos plus this text file with this data will be placed in the Family History Library, Salt Lake City, Utah, for public use.
