 Robert J. Davis, 86, of Port Charlotte, FL died Feb. 13, 2012. He was born 
Oct. 2, 1925 to Albert and Marion Davis in Monroe, Michigan. He married his 
wife in 1950. Mr. Davis was a WWII veteran serving in the U.S. Navy in the 
North Atlantic Convoy duty aboard the DE 766, U.S.S. Slater.
 R.J retired from Ford Motor Co in 1982. He was Plant Manager of the Lansdale, 
PA Electronics Plant at the time of his retirement. He moved to Florida in 
1986.
 He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, brother, two sons and two 
daughters and their families, and three grandchildren. He was preceded in 
death by his parents and brother, Don.
 He will be creamated and the ashes committed at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens, 
Punta Gorda, FL. A memorial service will be held at Messiah Lutheran Church, 
North Fort Myers on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012 at 11 a.m.
