Parker was born in Warren County Georgia May 23, 1812. Married Aletha Lawhon April 25, 1833, who was born in Washington Co., Georgia, Aug. 4, 1814. She bore 12 children (10 of which lived to be grown and married) and departed this life Dec. 7, 1883. He was raised in Weston Lodge No. 80, F.A.M. of Georgia, Dec. 1848. Assisted in forming Furlow Lodge No. 124 Botsford, Georgia in 1850, and served as W. M. for eleven years. Was exalted in L. Dwelle Chapter, No. 17 Lumpkin, Georgia in 1852. Joined Palmer Council No. 9 Lumpkin, Georgia 1853. Was a charter member of Lawrence Chapter No. 49 in Dawson, Georgia 1864. Served as W. M. of Fort Dade Lodge, No. 48. Dade City, Florida 1887. He is written about in the History of Terrell County. Wm. J. Parker was born May 25, 1812 in Warren Co, Georgia & died 1903 in Dade City, Citrus Co, Florida. His parents were John Prescott Parker and Rachael Kelly of North Carolina. Allethea Lawhon was born in Washington Co, Georgia born 8-4-1814 & died 12-7-1883 in Terrell Co. Allethea's father was Noel Lawhon born 1766 died 9-1849 of Cumberland, North Carolina, married to Sarah Bethune born abt. 1774 died aft. 1850. Noel & Sarah's children were Nancy, Cynthia, Sarah Barbara, Martin, Noel, Jr., John b. abt 1797, Daniel b.9-1803, Angerona b.1806 & Allethea. William and Allethea married 4-25-1833 & had Jessie, Julia, John Lawhon b. abt. 1834, Sarah Cynthia b. abt. 1836, Daniel Franklin b. abt. 1838, Eustace Dawson b. abt. 1840, Wm. Harrison b. 1841, Allethea Josephine b. 5-2-1842, Margaret Louisa b. abt. 1845, Angerona b. abt. 1848, Esther Permelia b. abt. 1851 & Marcellus Hartwell b. 5-1860 d. 1895 in Citrus County, Florida. He is buried next to his father W. J. Parker in Citrus County, Florida. Marcellus married Ellen Hasseltine Jennings 12-13-1880 in Terrell.
