Chief Adam Platt, 100, of Green Cove Springs. Survivors include his son, T.J. 
of Eustis; six daughters, Helen Johnson of Ocala, Goldie Meckstroth of 
Leesburg, Remadale Campbell of Vero Beach, Nell Tingue of Gainesille, Barbara 
Odum of Fruitland Park, and Nadie Knight of Lady Lake; a sister, Azalee 
Russell of Orangeburg, S.C.; 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchidren, and 
one great-great-grandchild.

Additional Comments:
He was a retired heavy equipment operator in commercial construction, and also 
a Baptist.
