C. Waldron deceased who departed this life on the 15 day of July A.D. 1895 in the county of Columbia in the State of Florida . I was married to him on the 16th day of Dec. A.D. 1856 in the county of Fayette in the State of Georgia. I have not remarried since the death of my said husband J. C. Waldron. My husband the said J. C. Waldron enlisted and served in the (what State or Confederate State) Confederate, CO. B 5th Fla. service of the State of Florida , ________ during the war between the States of the United States, and he did not desert the Confederate of State service. I was a resident of the State of Florida on January 1st, 1890 and have since continuously resided in this State, that I do not own property, real or personal to the value of eight hundred dollars. sign by Emily E. Where does she reside and how long has she been a resident of this State? Lake City, Fla (40) Forty years or more 4. Were you acquainted with her husband? Yes 5. Where and to who was he married? the applicant at Fayette Georgia. 6. Is he dead, if so . when and where did he die? Yes at Lake City Fla July 15th 1895 7. Was he a Soldier or Sailor in the State or Confederate service during the war between the States? A Confederate Soldier 8. When did he enlist and in what organization ? 1861 Company "B" 5th Fla Regiment 9. When was he discharged and for what cause? after the surrender at Fort Deleware Prison 10. Where and in what compagns did he perform regular military duty? All of the Virginia Compaigns, up to capture at the battle of Wilderness 11. Were either or both of you members of the same Company of Regiment with him? Yes 12. Did he desert the Confederate or State service? No 13. Were either of you with the command when it surrendered ?
