GRAHAM has been a Miami business man since 1914. He is an associate founder and the president of the Miami Audit and Investment Company, a complete organization for certified public accounting and handling of audits for corporations and other large business concerns. Mr. Graham is a native of Monmouth, Illinois, but when he was a small boy the family moved to Pennsylvania. He was educated in the public schools of Pittsburgh and in Trinity Hall at Washington in the same state. His early ambitions were for a career as a live stock man, but as a young man he removed to the Pacific Coast and for several years was engaged in business at San Francisco and later at Seattle, Washington. Mr. Graham is an outdoor man, and in earlier years was a noted athlete. While at San Francisco he became a member of the famous Olympic Club of that city. He was on the original Olympic Club boat crew, a crew of oarsmen who won many notable rowing events on the coast. Mr. Graham has ever since retained a fondness for general athletics and particularly aquatic sports, and has accepted such opportunities as have come to him in a busy career while at Miami, to participate in or and encourage wholesome athletics. Mr. Graham came to Miami in 1914. Here he utilized his long training and experience as a skilled accountant, and in 1920 he and his associates founded the Miami Audit and Investment Company. The business of this company is largely with corporations, and under able management it has a clientele widely extended over Florida. While in California Mr. Graham married ADA CAMPBELL, a native of Detroit, Michigan. They have three children, HAROLD B., HELEN AUGUSTA and FREDERICK E. The last two were given college educations in the University of California. The older son, Harold B., was in the United States navy during the entire World war, serving both on the Pacific and Atlantic oceans and in the North Sea.
