Winn Services for Mrs. India D. Winn, 85, of 54 SE 10th st., who passed away in a local hospital yesterday, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Philbrick Coral Gables chapel. She came to Miami 20 years ago from Indianapolis, Ind., and was a member of the Church of Christ Scientists and the Three Score and Ten club. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Thomas Robinson, of Coral Gables and Miss A. G. Roeske, of Champaign, Ill.; a brother E. P. Dill, and three grandchildren. Joseph Chapman Services for Joseph Chapman, 70, of 3851 Braganza, ave., Coconut Grove, who died at his home yesterday, will be held at his residence at 4 p.m. tomorrow, with Ben Lanier Funeral home in charge of arrangements. A graduate of Princeton and the University of Pennsylvania Law school, he was active in amateur figure ice skating and won one of the prizes at the first national figure skating contest in 1923. Retired from law practice at the time of his death, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ruth Pitkin Chapman, formerly of Boston. Percy J. Colbert Services for Percy J. Colbert, 52, of 959 Washington ave., Miami Beach, who died in a local hospital yesterday, will be held at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow in Nicely Funeral chapel, Miami Beach, with the Reverend Paul Jewett officiating, Burial will follow in Miami Memorial Park. A Miami resident since 1925, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Frances Colbert; a daughter, Joyce; a sister, Mrs. R. A. Shaw, and two brothers, Ralph and Will Colbert. Mrs. Antoinette Lamb Mrs. Antoinette Reid Lamb, 55, 629 Pinecrest dr., Miami Springs, died yesterday. She had come from New York 11 years ago. She was past matron of the Miami Springs chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star; a member of the Miami Springs Woman’s club, the Miami Springs Garden club and the Amaranth Trinity court. A daughter, Estelle, and a brother survive her. Eastern Star services will be held at 8 p.m. tomorrow at Combs chapel. Further services will be held at Holy Cross Episcopal church at 11 a.m. Saturday, with burial at Flagler Memorial park. Mrs. Josephine Smith Mrs. Josephine J. Smith, 55, 6307 NE Second ave., died Tuesday. She had come from St. Louis, Mo., 11 years ago. Her husband, George, survives her. Services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Lithgow’s 54th st. center, followed by creamation. Percy J. Colbert Burial of Percy J. Colbert was to take place at Flagler Memorial Park this afternoon, following services in the Nicely funeral home chapel at Miami Beach. Colbert, who resided at 959 Washington ave., Miami Beach, came here 26 years ago from Cartersville, Ga. He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Frances Colbert; a daughter, Joyce; a sister, Mrs. Frances Colbert; a daughter Joyce [Joyce listed twice in obit]; a sister, Mrs. R. A. Shaw, and two brothers, Ralph and Will Colbert. John Jacob Moss Funeral services for John Jacob Moss, 56, retired night club operator and long active in Masonic, veteran and civic affairs, were to be held at the Gordon funeral home chapel this afternoon. The Dade County Guard of Honor was to hold military services at the burial, which was to follow in Mt. Nebo cemetery. In addition to the funeral services to be conducted by Rabbi Morris Skop, Hibiscus Masonic lodge 275 was to conduct Masonic rites at the funeral home chapel. Moss, who died yesterday, came here six years ago from Trenton, N.J., and resided at 1920 SW 32nd pl. He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Sadye Moss, and three sisters, Mrs. Jack Pallot and Mrs. Phil Marshall, Miami, and Mrs. Morris Yonkelowitz, New Orleans. Moss was a member of the Mahi Shrine Temple, Jewish War Veterans, American Legion post 85, the Miami Elks lodge, and various civic and fraternal organizations in Trenton. He also was Miami junior commander of the Disabled War Veterans. John H. Walker John H. Walker, 78, retired bridge-tender who had lived here 27 years, died yesterday. His home was at 3700 NW South River dr. Mr. Walker, who had tended the west drawbridge on MacArthur causeway, came from Sommerset, Pa. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mae Walker, and a daughter, Mrs. Lawrence Shagnon, both of Miami; a stepson, two brothers and a sister. Services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Bess Funeral home, with burial at Miami Memorial park cemetery. Mrs. Linda Taylor Mrs. Linda Taylor, 79, of 122 NW 58th ave., died last night in a hospital. Funeral services will be held in the Tracy chapel at 1 p.m. Saturday, with burial in Miami Memorial cemetery. Mrs. Taylor came to Miami from Camden, N.J., in 1918. She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Helen Webb, of Miami, and two grandchildren. Oscar Baur Oscar Baur, 84, a winter visitor, died suddenly last night. The body will be sent to Terre Haute, Ind., for burial by the Beach Memorial chapel. Mr. Baur, president of the Terre Haute Brewing co., had been a winter visitor on the Beach many years. He leaves a wife, Mrs. Lilith Baur; a son, Edward, and two grandchildren. William Sinelly William John Sinelly, 60, of 8500 Biscayne blvd., died yesterday. A World War I veteran of the Canadian army, he had come from New York City eight years ago. Surviving are his wife, Catherine; and two sisters, Mrs. Marie Brennan and Mrs. Emily Chapman, both of London, England. Rosary service will be at 8 p.m. tomorrow at Lithgow’s 54rth st. center. Requiem mass will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic church, with burial at Southern Memorial Park. Jacob Morrison Jacob Morrison, 70, of 5545 Pinetree dr., Miami Beach, died yesterday. The body was sent to Buffalo by the Riverside Miami Beach chapel. Mr. Morrison came to Miami from Buffalo 10 years ago. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Jennie Morrison; three sons, Isadore, Maurice and Samuel, and three daughters, Mrs. Rose Kohnstrann, Mrs. Anne Targes and Mrs. Melbe Weisberg, al of Miami Beach, and a brother, Louis, of Chicago. Marian Ross Baird Funeral services were scheduled at 4 p.m. today in Philbrick’s Coral Gables chapel for Marion Ross Baird, 31, who died Tuesday in a plane crash at Miami International airport. The Rev. A. R. Charlesworth will conduct the rites, and burial will be in Flagler Memorial park. Baird was chief radio technician in an Aerodex, Inc., plane that crased on a test flight. Three other men were killed. Services will be held Saturday for Benn Terry, veteran pilot of the plane, tiem and place to be announced. Bodies of Fred Hal Bazley, 56, and Herbert Fritzsche, 41, have been forwarded to Pittsburgh, Pa., for funeral services. Local arrangements for all four are under direction of Philbrick. Baird lived at 610 Boabadilla ave., Coral Gables. A Gables resident for eight years, he came from Ocala and was a member of the Tamiami Methodist church. He is survived by his wife, Meda; a daughter, Marianne; two brothers, P. B. and Ray, and a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Dinmin.
