D. One Thousand Nine Hundred and thirty-one, personally appeared before me a Clerk Circuit Court in and for the County and State aforesaid Mrs. Maggie Barber a resident of ____ County of Dixie State of Florida, who being duly sworn according to law, makes the following declaration in order to obtain a pension under the provisions of the General Pension Laws of Florida. That she is the lawful widow of W. J. Barber who enlisted under the name of ____. For proof of husband's war service, refer to Pension No. 8241. That she was lawfully married to the said William J. Barber under the name of Maggie Kight in the County of Suwannee State of Florida on the 8 day of May 1895, and she was not divorced from him before nor has she remarried since his death, which occurred on the 11th day of January, 1931, in the County of Dixie, State of Florida except as hereinafter stated. That she is a resident of Dixie County, Florida, and has continuously resided in the State of Florida since the 22nd day of February 1873 (all my life). That she was heretofore granted a pension from the State of Florida under Certificate No. ____. That she is not a pensioner of any other State.
