Notes:  This 3-acre cemetery is located to the right off the North end of 
McCargo. McCargo runs off of Beaver Street in the Western portion of Jacksonville. 
There is a little church building known as New Hope Missionary Baptist Church 
nearby, but not associated with the cemetery. Sheppard and Elizabeth Brunson 
donated the acreage to the community for use as a cemetery. Aaron Brunson 
(781-0860), a descendant of the donors, may be contacted for additional 
information. 

Condition: Poor. Sadly neglected. Even though there have been some recent burials, 
it appears to be abandoned.

I counted 23 unmarked graves, and 17 unmarked vaults/slabs.
