Turn Left and just a little ways down to the right you will find Yellow Bluff Road, turn Right and the gate leading to the cemetery will be on your left in a curve just before you cross a small bridge, 2 miles from Main Street. The gate is locked. Keys are held by several people. I contact Mary Powell 757-3575, who unlocked her lock for me. A pedestrian may pass by the gate to left and proceed down the lane about 3/4 mile to the cemetery. The black cemetery is behind the white cemetery. There are 15-20 gravesites indicated, but only a few have names on them. Mrs. Edward (Mary) Powell and Mrs. Dale (Mary) Townsend were my assistants. Condition: It is reported that vandals had damaged many of the graves and grave markers. Some of the markers have been repaired, and most are readable. The area is sadly neglected and overgrown. There have been no recent burials in this area. BROWN, G. G., b. 1867, d. 1959 McNAIR, No First Name, b. ?? 23 1910, d. ?? 25 1969 McNAIR, Robert, b. No Date, d. No Date
