The Major General commanding having divided the State of Florida into three Brigades hereby designates the limit and territory of each as follows. 2. First Brigade: All that portion of the state lying west of the Apalachicola river and including Franklin county. Brigadier General Geo Reese, commanding, Pensacola, Fla. 3. Second Brigade: All that portion of the state lying east of the Apalachicola river and north of and including the counties of Paxco, Sumter, Lake, Putnam and St Johns except Franklin county. Brigadier General, Jno M Martin commanding, Ocala, Fla. 4. Third Brigade: All the portion of the state lying south of and including the counties of Volusia, Orange, Polk, and Hillsborough. Brigadier General, S. G. French, commanding, Orlando, Fla. 5. The above officers will be obeyed and respected accrodingly. By Order J. J. Dickison Major Genl Com'dg, Fred L. Robertson Adj-Genl and Chief of Staff Headquarters Florida Division; United Confederate Veterans Brooksville, Florida, april 30, 1892 GENERAL ORDER NO. 5. The truth of history, the reputation of the noble men who gave their lives for the cause of the South and the maintainance of the constitution of Thomas Jefferson in its purity, demand that our story shall be truthfully handed down from father to son, from mother to daughter, until it shall be indellibly chronicled that no one will ever dare try to question it. The Major General commanding the Florida Division United Confederate Veterans therefore desires to impress upon all officers and members of the organization the importance of organizing camps of sons of Confederate Veterans, which camps shall also receive the sisters, sons, daughters, and mothers of the sons. To the members of his personal staff, brigade commanders and officers of camps does he especially confide the important duty of organization. All camps organized will report to the Adjutant-General of the Division who will furnish all needed information. By Order J. J. Dickison Major Genl Com'dg. Fred L. Robertson Adj-Genl and Chief of Staff Headquarters Florida Division, United Confederate Veterans, Brooksville, Florida; May 4th 1892 GENERAL ORDER NO. 6. The Major General commanding announces that the first Encampment of Florida Division United Confederate Veterans will be held at Jacksonville, Florida, on Wednesday, June the 8th. All confederate camps and confederate soldiers of all arms, grades and departments are cordially invited to attend this re-union. A programme to be observed at the Re-union and all details will be furnished to the camps and to all veterans by the Committee of Arrangements to be appointed from R E Lee Camp No 58. By Order J. J.
