DANIELS Dalton Randolph Daniels, age 79, died Sunday, December 28, 2003 at St. 
Vincent's Medical Center in Jacksonville after an extended illness. He was born 
in Ware County, Georgia February 9, 1924, he lived in Jacksonville most of his 
life moving to Macclenny in 1968. He was a member of the Macedonia Methodist 
Church in Glen St. Mary, FLorida. He served his country in the U. S. Army in the 
Infantry during WWII in the South Pacific. He was a machinist and mechanic at 
the Jacksonville Shipyard for many years. His son Bobby Daniels precedes him in 
death. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Marie Daniels of Macclenny; three 
sons, Charles Daniels of Keystone Heights, Larry (Linda) Daniels and Gary 
(Holly) Daniels both of Macclenny, fourteen grandchildren and eighteen great 
grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Daniels will be held Tuesday, December 
30, 2003 at 1:00PM in the Mt. Zion New Congregational Methodist Church in 
Macclenny with Rev. Earl Luke and Rev. Leila Lauramore offi ciating. Interment 
followed in Oak Grove Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation was held 
Monday, December 29, 2003 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home. Pallbearers 
are Derek Daniels, Tim Daniels, Gary S. Daniels, Tim Kirkland, Steve Burridge, 
and B. J. Putnal and two honorary Jimmy Keene and Joe Cook. Fraser Funeral Home
