Francis de la RUA, Antonia CARO, Joaquina SIERRA, Isabella BONIFAY and Petrona GONZALEZ nd for the further consideration of the sum of one dollar to me in hand paid by the said Francis de la RUA, Antonia CARO, Joaquina SIERRA, Isabella BONIFAY and Petrona GONZALEZ of the city aforesaid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained, sold and conveyed and by these presents do hereby grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the said Francis de la RUA, Antonia CARO, Joaqunia SIERRA, Isabella BONIFAY and Petrona GONZALEZ and to their heirs and assigns forever, a certain lot or parcel of land, situate, lying and being in the city of Pensacola, known as the plan of the said city as Lot Number two hundred and seventy-four (274) containing eighty feet front on Intendencia Street by one hundred and seventy feet in depth. Together with all and singular the hereditament and appurtenance thereunto belonging or in any wise appurtenance and all the right title interest, claim and demand of I, the said Josefa Falcon de la RUA in the premises. To have and to hold the same with the appurtenance unto the said Francisco de la Rua, Antonia Caro, Joaquina Sierra, Isabella Bonifay and Petrona Gonzales, and to their heirs and assigns in fee simple forever. Provided nevertheless it is the true intent and meaning of these presents that the said Josefa Falcon de la Rua reserves the right of possession, and the entire control of the premises herein described and hereby conveyed during her normal life. In testimony whereof I the said Josefa Falcon de la Rua have hereunto set my hand and seal at Pensacola This eight day of June in the year one thousand eight hundred and thirty-seven. Signed, sealed and delivered Josefa Falcon de la Rua in the presence of A. D. B. RIERA M. CRUPPER Territory of Florida Escambia County Personally appeared before me, M. CRUPPER, Clerk of the Court of the county aforesaid , Josefa Falcon de la Rua and acknowledged that she had executed the foregoing instrument of writing for the use and purpose therein mentioned.
