To the Honorable Board of Commissioners of Pensions:

Gentlemen:  The undersigned respectfully represents, and swears, that he was enlisted and 
served during the late war of Captain R. H. M. Davidson's Company, 6th Fla. Regiment, from 
the State of Florida; that he was wounded at the battle of Chickamauga, Tenn., Oct 19 1863 
while in the discharge of his duties; that he is, by reason of said wounds, unable to perform 
manual labor; that he is not a pensioner of any other State, or of the United States & that 
he has resided in this State 20 years next preceding this date.

I certify that I have carefully examined C. E. L. Allison the above applicant, and find him 
unable to labor and support himself by reason of gun shot wound received while in service of 
Confederate States resulting in the loss of right arm at shoulder joint.

Gadsden County

We, the Board of County Commissioners of said county, certify that C. E. L. Allison was a 
regularly enlisted soldier in Captain R. H. M. Davidson's Company, of the Sixth Regiment of 
Florida Volunteers, and served as such during the late war; that he is unable to do manual 
labor by reason of wounds received in the line of duty while so serving; that he is now a 
citizen of this county and State; that he is not receiving a pension from any other State or
from the United States, and that he has resided in this State 20 years next preceding this 
date.

Done at Quincy Gadsden Co., the County Site, this 3 day of October 1887.
