DICKSON of the Territory of Florida & County of Gadsden do give and grant unto the above named Grandchildren the following named Negroes, as follows: viz unto Robert Sloan DICKSON my negro boy named BRUTON aged about 12 years, to Barbara Ann Chapman my negro girl named DELSEY aged about 10 years; to Wm. David DICKSON my negro boy name SQUIRE aged about 7 years, to Martha DICKSON my negro girl named LUCY ANN aged about eight years, to Edward DICKSON my negro boy ROBERT aged about one year. The right & title of the above named negroes I do hereby warrant & defend forever to the above named (negroes) grandchildren as follows: viz, I warrant & forever defend the right & title of BRUTON to Robert Sloan DICKSON, of DELSEY to Barbara Ann CHAPMAN of SQUIRE to Wm. David DICKSON of LUCY ANN to Martha DICKSON of ROBERT to Edward DICKSON. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this the 18th day of August A. D. 1834. CARR one of the subscribing Witnesses thereto & it is ordered by the Court that the deed be Registered. In testimony whereof I, James DICKSON, Clerk of the Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions of said County have hereunto subscribed my name & affixed my seal of Office this 22nd day of October A. D. 1834.
