E. Overstreet (N.C.) and Nancy A. E. Moore (Tattnall County, GA) It is a small cemetery consisting of at least 12 graves with no official name but everyone calls it the “Overstreet Cemetery” in Judson and sometimes the Judson cemetery as the area is still apparently unofficially Judson FL. It is located in the middle of 80 acres of woods on the NW corner of SE 107th Pl and SE 25th Ave currently in Trenton FL. There is no mailing address and no official access except through a family member and agreement with the land owners, Grandoff Investments. More family at Ebenezer Church cemetery, Pine Grove Cemetery, Chiefland Cemetery and last is Long Pond cemetery that hasn't been located where James and Nancy are supposed to be burried. I have checked the well known Long Pond cemeter and found nothing. No one seems to know where they are burried. There is mention of a cemetery that was destroyed by the mines and of another grave somewhere in the area that I am researching. The owners (Grandoff Investments) take care of the cemetery when needed but otherwise are not interested in talking directly with any family about the cemetery. The most I can get is to their secretary but so far that is all I've needed as they are not related to the Overstreets. I have an old letter stating this location was a corn field owned by the Overstreet's cousins. Not sure why the cemetery is there because the Overstreets owned two 300 acre farms in Levy county. The old house still stands at one but the other burned down years ago although it is still called the Overstreet place by the current owners. This cemetery has never been listed on any official site in this detail until now. Jan 15, 2011 by Zane M. Overstreet, GrGrGrGreat Grandson of James A. E. Overstreet. Thanks to all who have helped me as I learn this process including new / lost family I have met along the way.
