Black’s Still Cemetery was an African-American Cemetery 
that was long ago decimated.  According to Veterans’ Graves 
Registration Project, St. Augustine, Florida 1940-1941; 
Hamilton County, Florida No. 24. Prepared by Veterans’ 
Grave Registration  Project Division of Professional and 
Service Projects Work Projects Administration. Sponsored by 
the Military Department of the State of Florida and co-
sponsored by the American Legion, Department of Florida 
Hamilton 1940 – 1941:
Black’s Still Cemetery in Section 10, Township 1N, Range 
15E.  Directions cited:  “From the town of Belmont, go west 
on State Road 116 E (now SR 6) for 4.3 miles to cemetery 
which lies 200 feet on right (north) of road.  (Note: no 
veteran burials were reported for this cemetery.)
