Dempsey Cemetery is on the property at 11973 CR 132 SE in 
Hamilton County, behind the Town and Country Home Center 
currently owned by William Marable, Jr.   The Property 
Appraiser’s record Section 15, Township 1 S, Range 14 E. 
From Exit 451 on I-75 at Jasper, take US 129 South and 
travel 2.7 miles.  Turn left onto CR 132 SE and travel 1.3 
miles.  The cemetery is on the right, approximately 300 
yards from the road, behind the Town and Country Home 
Center.  (Permission should be requested to go behind fence 
to view the cemetery). 

Dempsey Cemetery was first canvassed by Winnie Smith Hodges 
and published in her book Cemeteries of Hamilton County in 
1991.   The cemetery was re-surveyed and photographed by 
Lesleigh Laite Butts April 7, 2007.
