Harry T. Reid Funeral Home of Jasper confirmed name officially used is Herndon Cemetery. Herndon Cemetery is located on timberland in rural Hamilton County area once referred to as Pinetta. Hamilton County Property Appraiser Parcel 4784-020 in Section 6 Twp 2N Range 11E in rural Hamilton County, Florida; (Lat. 30.6010426 Long. -83.2554240). From Exit 467 on I-75 at Jennings, Florida, take CR 143 South and travel 3 miles to Junction CR 143/NW CR 152. Turn right onto NW CR 152, travel 7 miles to NW 13th Drive/County Road C-152 turn left onto County Road C-152, travel 3/10 mile then turn right onto NW 16th Avenue and travel 3/10 mile there will be unimproved roadway to the left which is the approach to the cemetery which is 1/10 mile into the woods. (Note: In her book Cemeteries of Hamilton County, Winnie Hodges labeled this cemetery as Bethelham/Herndon. The cemetery today is referred to as Herndon Cemetery.) Herndon Cemetery was first surveyed by Winnie Smith Hodges and published in her book Cemeteries of Hamilton County in 1991.
