The current property owners are Bobbie and Diana Hunnicutt. Graves are no longer visible. Old timers Alton Henderson and Shelton Mitchell advised the property has been farmed over the years, they recall the headstones were made of wood with names burned by branding iron. Subsequent to our visit to the location, a 1960 aerial map showing the parcel and location of the cemetery was found. William RoBarts was born in France, the son of John and Mary Lambright RoBarts. He had six wives and fourteen children. The first five wives: Holly, Ann Evelyn Griffin (died during childbirth), Hanah Gwin Bradwell (died during childbirth), Eliza Bayley, Mary Jackson are all buried in the Congregational Church Cemetery in Midway, Georgia. The following children are buried there also: two babies, daughter Holly, son James William Robarts. One son David 1843-1897 is buried in Swift Creek Methodist Church Cemetery in White Springs, Florida. Son Henry Clay Robarts 1847-1933 is buried in Riverside Cemetery, White Springs, Florida. RoBarts descendant, Shelton Mitchell, who has been researching the RoBarts family and cemetery has provided this history and burial information. To get to the cemetery location from I-75 take Exit 451 onto US 129/41N and travel 3.5 miles, the cemetery would have been 175 yards off the highway in the field to the right side of the house at 4855 SE US Hwy 41. The property was photographed by Lesleigh Laite Butts February 21, 2008.
