West Lake Cemetery is an African-American Cemetery located in rural Hamilton County.
Cemeteries of Hamilton County cites Section 22 Twp 1N Range 12E, however, the Hamilton County Property Appraiser advises 
the cemetery is located on Parcel 3531-000 in Section 15 Twp 1N Range 12E, which lists the owner of record as Reid Family 
Partnership LP.  No physical address has been assigned to this location.
     From I-75 (west of Jasper) take Exit 460 onto State Road 6 West.  Travel 4.1 miles on SR 6 and the cemetery will be 
set back in the woods 1/10 mile from the road, accessed by unimproved roadway.  
     West Lake Cemetery was first surveyed by Winnie Smith Hodges and published in her book "Cemeteries of Hamilton County" in 1991.
The cemetery was re-surveyed and photographed by Lesleigh Laite Butts July 7, 2008.
