Jul 2, 2004.  Located in Evergreen Cemetery (East Center Section), Jasper, 
Hamilton County, Florida.

Beside John Henry Sandlin, Sr. in front of large monument inscribed Family of 
John Henry Sandlin, Sr.; Obituary: Lucile Sandlin, age 81,  Born in Lake City, 
to John Henry Sandlin and Lucile Greene. Graduate Columbia High School, May 
18, 1941. Joined the WAVES in 1942, stationed in Pearl Harbor for three years, 
honorably discharged in 1946. Attended the University of Florida became civil 
service employee in Jacksonville. Graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological 
Seminary with degree of Bachelor of Religious Education. Director of YWCA in 
South Carolina, Virginia and Florida. Retired in September, 1989 from the 
Palmetto Center (a rehabilitation and treatment center) in Florence, SC, where 
she served as a counselor. Loved fishing, riding horses, played the saxophone 
and member of a small combo while living in South Carolina.  Survivors: 
nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by parents; four brothers, John 
Henry Sandlin, William Ralph Sandlin, Preston Marvin Sandlin, Charles 
Daughtery Sandlin and one sister, Lucile Mae Sandlin.
