Obituary provided further info: Richard C. Schlichting III, 56, of Lake Park 
died Sunday, August 15, 1999 at Holly Hill Nursing Home following a lengthy 
illness. Born Newark, New Jersey, lived in Atlanta, Ga. for many years before 
moving to Valdosta, Ga. in May 1998. A funeral is Wednesday, August 18, at 10 
a.m. at the graveside in Evergreen Cemetery in Jasper, Fla. with the Bro. 
Billy Ball of Faith Baptist Church, Primrose, Ga. officiating. Surviving are 
friend, Yvonne Manning , Lake Park, her family of Jasper, Fla.; sons, Richard 
C. Schlichting IV, Kurt Schlichting and their families of Grantville, Ga.; 
sister, Liz Schlichting of Newark, New Jersey; brother, Jimmy Schlichting, 
California; three grandchildren, Ambe, Heather, Victoria Schlichting
