Hamilton County Property Appraiser Parcel 1462-000 in Section 35 Twp 1N Range 15 E; (Lat. 30.4991096 Long. -82.7762409). This area of Hamilton County is referred to as Genoa. Although there is no longer a town there, there is green sign designating the area. From Exit 451 at I-75 take US 129 North and travel 2.5 miles to Junction US 41/US 129. Take US 41 South and travel 8.8 miles there will be a dirt road on the left marked "Contractor's Gate #7" [this had been a PCS Phosphate mining area, since mined out]. Turn onto the dirt road there will be signs marked Pool Pond Cemetery. Travel 1.8 miles and there will be dirt road going off to the left, travel 1/10 mile to the cemetery with a pavilion inside a chain link fence. Additional Comments: Poole Pond sign in underbrush at the road that approaches Poole Pond Cemetery in rural Hamilton County, Florida. The land use was chemical mining, but has since been mined out. This is not an easy cemetery to locate due to the maze of unpaved roads necessary to navigate to reach it.
