Government headstone for Lewis A. [Anderson] Tyre, Sr., Pvt Co B 5 Fla Inf 
CSA, b. 1833 d. 1878.  Also inscribed: Remains are buried at Rawhide Cemetery 
in Jennings, Florida.  Cemetery no longer maintained.  Headstone located in 
the Deas [Dees] Cemetery, Jasper, Hamilton County, Florida.

Additional Comments:
This headstone was placed im memory of Lewis, next to his wife Fannie Dees 
Tyre Howard, in the Deas [Dees] Cemetery subsequent to the February 2007 
survey.
