Sasser’s Landing (African-American) Cemetery is located in Section 12 Twp 2N 
Range 12E in Hamilton County.  From I-75 at Jennings take Exit 467 onto CR 143 
North then travel 1.2 miles to Jennings intersection.  Cross through 
intersection onto CR 141 and travel 2/10 miles to Junction CR 141/CR150 and 
turn right onto CR 150.  Travel 1.5 and turn right onto NW 14th Terrace. The 
cemetery will be on the right. Note:  The Sasser’s Landing (African-American) 
Cemetery will be first, the Sasser’s Landing white section is beyond a 
dividing chain link fence at approximately 2/10 mile.

Sasser’s Landing (African-American) Cemetery was first surveyed by Winnie 
Smith Hodges and recorded in her book Cemeteries of Hamilton County in 1991.  
Sasser’s Landing African-American Cemetery was re-surveyed and photographed by 
Lesleigh Laite Butts and Marie Cantlin July 15, 2008.
